Sambalpur: State of the Art TinkerSpace set up at VSSUT with the help of the Young Tinker Educational Foundation
Sambalpur: The State of the Art TinkerSpace has been set up at the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology with the help of the Young Tinker Educational Foundation. It is said to inspire students to innovate.
According to the information received, a workshop was organized with the students of many clubs like Vssut’s Idea and Innovation Cell, Robotics Society, Automobile Society, and Pixel on last 31 July. As part of Young Tinker’s unique approach, students took an active role in setting up the TinkerSpace and 3D printers. This state-of-the-art laboratory space will be available to over 5,000 students enrolled in various courses of the university.
The CEO of the organization Anil Pradhan met the Vssur Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bansidhar Majhi and gave the acknowledgment in this regard. The Young Tinker Educational Foundation’s recognition will help to promote innovation and science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education among students. Young Tinker team members Abhishek Shukla and Alok Mohanty guided the students during the installation process. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bansidhar Majhi congratulated the students for their outstanding efforts in bringing state-of-the-art TinkerSpace to the college. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Devadatta Mishra, Dean of the Department of Mechanical Sciences hailed Tinkerspace as a milestone for Vssut Burla.
Prof. Mishra commented, “The Young TinkerSpace will act as a hub for creativity and hands-on learning. This will equip students with the necessary skills to excel in their future careers, he said.
