Sambalpur: Student dies in Bus Collision; 5 hours on the road with the dead body

Sambalpur: In the city of Sambalpur, there was tension on the second day due to the death of a minor student under the pressure of a tourist bus. After the postmortem, there was a commotion after the family members handed over the dead body. Even the police stopped people while taking the dead body to the roadside demanding compensation. A situation of tension arose between the people and the police.

According to the information, Arun Nayak’s son Dishant Nayak (Ronak-13) of Gurudwara Chowk, Sambalpur was studying in the 9th standard at the Central School. He was going from Mudipada to Kunjelpada on a Scooty at around 7:00 pm yesterday, when the bus hit him from behind in front of the Mudipada regional directorate of education office. Ronak died on the spot. While destroying the bus, the police arrived and stopped it. To bring the situation under control, the police lathi-charged the people and confiscated the bus. Police picked up 12 people in the for the incident.

After the post-mortem on Thursday, Ronak’s body was taken to Gurdwara Basti to be handed over to the family members. The protestors set out to block the road by placing the dead body on Mudipada Chowk, demanding compensation and the release of those detained by the police, but the police stopped them on the way.
