Sambalpur: Students of Vedic International School have achieved 16 medals in karate competition
Sambalpur: Students of Vedic International School have achieved great success in an open national karate championship organized in Similiguda of Koraput district. Contestants from Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha and other states participated in this competition organized by Odisha Sports Association. Aarushi Parihari, Hansika Tayal, Abhigyana Tripathi, Swarg Sasikala Digal, Satyam Kumar, Toshwant Rautiya, Tolish Dark, Nishith Kumar Majhi got two medals each. A total of 16 medals were won, including 8 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals. Karate trainers Kailas Shibla and Deepak have made a major contribution to the victory of these students. Today, Dean of Vedic Group of Institutions, Parth Mukherjee felicitated the winners in a special meeting.
