Sambalpur: Swatika, studying in 8th standard at Kendriya Vidyalaya has been selected to play in the under-15 state women’s team
Sambalpur: Swatika, daughter of Prashant Kumar Behera, who works in the Sambalpur District Police Department, has been selected to play in the under-15 state women’s team. This information has been given by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCC). After knowing this, Swatika’s family, relatives, and coach expressed happiness. Swatika is studying in the 8th standard at Kendriya Vidyalaya. After being selected for the state team, she will get a chance to play in BCCI’s practice matches and matches to be organized by BCCI. Even Swatika has been selected to play for the Odisha team in the matches to be played in Kolkata and Dehradun.
As she got a place in the women’s cricket team, there has been a wave of happiness in the entire Sambalpur district. Swatika’s success is due to the contribution of Sambalpur Cricket Coach Sheikh Jahangir, Associate Saumya Mohanty, Sports Association Vice President Dulal Chandra Pradhan, General Secretary Sunil Kumar Sahu, and Cricket Secretary Abinash Nanda. Swastika is currently playing for the Sambalpur Blue Diamond team.
