Sambalpur: Tanushree Patel from Badabazar selected for I.I.T Mumbai
Tanushree Patel, eldest daughter of Shri Jagbandhu Patel and Mrs. Jayanti Patel, a resident of Badabazar, Bhati Road, Sambalpur District, is the only girl selected for IIT Bombay from Western Odisha. Tanushree Patel had an interest and concentration in her studies since she was a child. She succeeded first-class in 10th grade from Vikash Concept School, then admitted +2 to GM College, and also took first place.
After this success she was admitted to the Department of Philosophy at Ravenshaw University under the supervision of her professor Dr. Prashant Pradhan. Her talent was not enough to reach the pinnacle of primacy, but her talent was noticed by the professors. Dr. Patitapavan Das, HOD of the Department of Philosophy, saw the talent of Tanushree Patel and made her work hard for admission to IIT Bombay. It is not easy to get admission in IIT Bombay, have to pass a written test, two or three rounds of interviews, and finally Tanushree Patel has achieved this by jumping the mile mark. She is very happy and proud of this achievement. Tanushree said she would continue to specialize in the Indian philosophy department
and said she could have joined IIT Bombay through engineering but she gave priority to her preferred philosophy and moved on.
She credits her parents, Mr. Jagbandhu and Mrs. Jayanti Patel, her aunt and uncle, Mr. Narayan and Reena Patel, Grandparents Mr. Nrupamani Patel and Mrs. Sarojini Patel, and the professors, and says that I have taken this place for their blessings. Her parents, Mr. Jagbandhu and Mrs. Jayanti Patel, credited his teacher’s blessings and her hard work for this achievement.
All the Patel families are happy and proud of this achievement.
