Sambalpur: Tata Power will give incentives for solar power generation
Sambalpur: The second phase of the rooftop solar generation program, which has already been initiated by the Government of India, is being implemented by electricity distribution companies across the country. In this series, Western Odisha Electricity Distribution Company TPWODL has provided necessary infrastructure preparation and necessary training to the employed engineers. The company has signed contracts with firms having the technical know-how to install the said equipment and perform its necessary maintenance. Residential, Government/Commercial organizations can also install solar power through this program.
Chief Executive Officer of TPWODL Eng. Ghajanan Kale said, “Consumers will be given discounts as per the policy set by the government.” It will be published for public information on the company’s website shortly. With this program, users can enjoy many benefits and save a lot of electricity. Its installation and maintenance system is very easy and simple so it can be installed anywhere in Western Odisha. Ms. Kale said that this program is being implemented by TPWODL simultaneously in its five constituencies, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Kalahandi, and Rourkela.
