Sambalpur: Thalassemia child went to Cuttack for treatment with the help of volunteer Ramdas Panda
Burla: 6-year-old Akash Saha of Kesinga, Bhavanipatna, who is suffering from thalassemia, was admitted by his father to Burla Surgical Department on the 18th. As per the doctor’s recommendation, Akash needs to undergo surgery. But this surgery is not possible in Burla, so the doctor advised his father to take him to Cuttack Medical Center. Akash’s father Lalit is a daily wage earner. He is not financially strong to take him to Cuttack.
Anil Dehuri of Burla informed this to volunteer Ramdas Panda. After discussing with Dr. Lalmohan Naik, Superintendent of Vimsar, Professor Dr. Prakash Panda, and Dr. Ravi Narayan Guru, on Monday Ramdas Panda sent Akash to Cuttack for treatment with some financial help through 108 ambulance. He has promised to provide necessary cooperation in the future.
