Sambalpur: The issue of closing the upper intersection, inviting accidents in Ainthapali chowk
Sambalpur, People going to the Jamadarpali or bus stand from Sambalpur city are now crossing the road by crossing the divider. Crossing the road dangerously. Bikes or autos are breaking all the divides Some such scenes have been seen after the closure of the busy Ainthapali chowk in Sambalpur city. They blocked the connection to the national highway citing the increasing number of accidents at Ainthapali chowk. Ainthapali chowk closed the upper street by pouring concrete. So people have to come from the Jamadarpali bus stand to come to Sambalpur city through Birsa Munda chowk. Similarly, to go to Jamadarpali or the bus station in Sambalpur, one has to walk through Barei Pali. So people have come over the divide between Ainthapali chowk and Birsa Munda chowk for fewer roads. It is alleged that people’s lives are in danger and traffic problems are created. There has been a strong reaction in the city regarding this incident from the District administration. Journalist Shiv Nand said, “If there are roads, then Accidents will happen. People will react to it. Will question the traffic system. So the road was closed. An example of which is Sambalpur Ainthapali chowk, Mr. Nanda has criticized. Meanwhile, the project director of NHAI Sambalpur division said. It has been closed indefinitely. Barricades have been installed as per the orders of the district administration. So if they say so, we will pick it up. In addition, Sambalpur SP B. Gangadhar said, the road has been completely closed for the Sambalpur folk festival. After completion of this, Ainthapali chowk will be opened. As a large vehicle will pass, the gap will be widened. But the intersection should not be opened as wide as it was, SP said.
