Sambalpur/ Boudh: The long-time dream of the people of Boudh and Nuapada districts has been fulfilled. After many years of long demand, the Northern Revenue Division has finally been reorganized to include Boudh and Nuapada districts. There were repeated reports about this in the ‘news’. The need to merge Boudh and Nuapada in the Northern Division was mentioned in the news. Finally, the government has taken a historic step by defending this claim. Currently, 12 districts came under the jurisdiction of the Northern Revenue Commissioner, while the area of the Southern Revenue Commissioner has been reduced to 8 districts. Angul, Bargarh, Balangir, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Subarnapur and Sundargarh districts will now be under the jurisdiction of Sambalpur, which is the northern revenue collector. Similarly, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal and Rayagada districts will be under the jurisdiction of Southern Revenue Commissioner.
