Sambalpur: Sambalpur’s much awaited flyover will be inaugurated on 21st Oct i.e. tomorrow. For this, necessary preparations are being made by the local administration and it is being decorated. The flyover is marked with a divider in the middle of the road and painted on both sides. A Rangoli is being drawn at the entrance. It is already illuminated with lights on the flyover. Its has been constructed through Dhuchurapada, Gujarati Colony Ashapali School side service road.
However, the drainage system of the flyover has not yet been completed. When it rains, it falls on the pedestrians. Similarly, the land required for the service road on both sides from Golbazar Street to Municipality Street could not be acquired. Despite all this, there is excitement among the residents of the city about the inauguration of the flyover. But the people of Duchurapada, Gujarati Colony area have expressed their displeasure. How much this flyover will help in traffic management of the city will be known in the coming days.
