Sambalpur: The water level in Hirakud reached 602 feet

Sambalpur: Water inflow to the Hirakud Reservoir has increased slightly with rainfall over the upper reaches. However, the water level remains stable as the inflow and outflow are the same. At 9 pm on Tuesday, the water level in Hirakud remained stable at 602.08 feet. At the time, an average of 31.963 cusecs of water was entering the reservoir. Similarly, 27,302 cusecs of water was discharged through the power channel, 3780 cusecs through the Bargarh main canal, 500 cusecs through the main canal and 108 cusecs through the Sambalpur distribution channel. For industrial purposes, 273 cusecs of water was released.
