Sambalpur: There are more than Hundreds of Un-Registered Schools in Sambalpur city
Sambalpur: There is a Modern Public School in the city where there is lack of necessary housing, grounds and physical facilities but Enrollment in the school was still going on. After a person complained, the Dhankauda Block Education Officer (BEO) investigated. The District Education Officer (DEO) cancelled its registration based on the inspection. This is not only one school, there are more than 40 such schools in Dhankauda block alone. It is also known that there are hundreds of unregistered private schools. Legal action taken against the school owner is pending.
Dhankauda Block Education Officer said, there are 76 registered schools out of which only 36 schools have the required documents corrected. This is the situation of many famous schools in the city. In addition, there are more than a hundred private schools who have not registered from the beginning. So question is being raised here, what is the district education department doing? Even though there are many illegal schools in the district headquarters, why is there no action taken? Why not file a fraud case in the name of the owner who is playing with the future of the parents and students? Why is the district education officer silent even though he knows all these things?
Due to the lack of own house or land of Dhankauda Modern Public School, the license has been withdrawn on last 4th. However, the school authorities have advertised for admissions. The parents are now worried about that. People have also questioned about the purpose of about 300 children studying there. The district education department issued a notice to withdraw the registration, but no further action was taken. The question is raised about the transparency of the department. According to the law, unregistered schools should be taken legal action with a fine of lakhs of rupees. Here is the open rule Manuni Khol District Education Department. It has been alleged that the officials are getting angry to take action because expensive gifts are reaching them. District Education Officer Meenarani Mangal was contacted about this, but she did not give any response.
