Sambalpur: There will be a flyover in Ainthapali, Overbridge on NH-53
Bhubaneswar/ Sambalpur: A 3.5 km 6-lane flyover in EPC mode will be constructed by NHAI at Ainthapali in Sambalpur and a 2-lane road overbridge (LHS) on National Highway-53 (formerly National Rajpath-6) in Sambalpur district. Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned Rs 374.17 crores for this purpose, informed the departmental minister Nitin Gadkari. Later Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Road Transport Minister Shri Gadkari. In addition, Mr. Pradhan said that strengthening all the infrastructure of the country, including roads, is “Modi’s guarantee”. The proposed 6-lane flyover will ease the traffic congestion at Ainthapali Street and the overbridge at NH-53 will further facilitate the Safe movement of people. The development of the industry sector will lead to rapid growth in the social and economic development of Odisha.

It is worth noting that the Union Minister Shri Pradhan wrote a letter to the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways on November 28 last year and informed that the National Highway-53 connects the cities of Jharsuguda, Devgarh, and Sambalpur through Bareipali Street and Ainthapali. Mr. Pradhan sought the personal intervention of Central Road Transport to expedite the work as people are facing problems due to the lack of flyover rules.
