Sambalpur: There will be a Goshala for Stray cows
The problem of bulls and cows in the Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation area is on the rise. Concerns have also been raised at various times. Both humans and cattle were seriously injured in the crash, which was caused by a bull on the road. Both humans and cows were seriously injured in the accident, which was caused due to this stray bulls and cow. Steps have been taken by the SMC to address the issue.
The SMC has signed MoUs with 3 NGOs today for 3 places, while the metropolitan corporation has proposed to build a separate Goshala in 5 places. According to the corporation, the MoU was signed at the district magistrate’s office today in the presence of district magistrate Divyajyoti Parida. It is learned that the MoU was signed for the construction of cattle sheds at Khaliaband, Ranibandha and Potapali. Land and financial assistance will be provided by the government for the construction of the barn. The department will also provide all necessary assistance.
The SMC will rescue the bulls and cows from various places and hand them over to the NGOs. The NGOs will also rescue them on their own initiative,” said SMC Ayub Pradeep Kumar Sahu. The SMC’s move has been widely welcomed.
