Sambalpur: TPWODL staff beaten while collecting pending electricity bill

Sambalpur: An employee of Tata Power was beaten up on Thursday while going to collect the pending electricity bill. In this regard, Tata Power employee Kishore Das filed a written complaint at the Dhanupali police station and the police registered a case and started investigating the incident.

According to the police information, Kishore Das and his team went to Putibandh area to collect the outstanding electricity bill. A man brutally attack him for asking the outstanding bill. After escaping from there, Kishore went to the gate of Dhanupali police station.
