Sambalpur: ‘Hello welcome to TPWODL, how can we help you’ comes the useless reply from TPWODL’s Customer Care. Today, they have been rightfully accused of their absolutely terrible service. They have been called out for giving false assurances to customers by speaking only smooth words while providing no real solutions. When the power goes out for any reason, the customer care agents don’t bother informing the customer about the reason, and TPWODL fails miserably in many cases to actually fix the damn problem, so people rightly call it a smokestack of incompetence.
According to the information, Sourav Agarwal, who had a shop in Bhalupali, had his electricity disconnected from 10 am on May 28. However, Saurav also called TPWODL customer care and reported his problem. He also called for review 4 times, but they provided no solution. Forced to work inside the concrete walls without electricity, he appealed to the local SDO through a letter. Also, no customer came to the shop due to a power outage and did not want to stay for even one to two minutes. Sourav was forced to complain because of TPWODL’s pathetic service. So Saurav is like a helpless rice in a rice pot.
The customer says that the customer care of TPWODL has utterly failed to resolve power cuts anywhere in Sambalpur city. As a result, valid questions have arisen everywhere about this pathetic mindset of TPWODL during the scorching summer. People have already demanded that the administration intervene and take action against TPWODL’s service.
