Underpass: A Hub for Illicit Activities
The Jagannath Colony underpass has become a notorious hotspot for illegal activity. Young men regularly gather here to consume alcohol, cannabis, and other intoxicants. As the evening approaches, the number of these people grows, resulting in an increase in criminal activity, such as stone-throwing at trains.
Public Demands Strict Action
Local residents have repeatedly complained about the increase in illegal activity around the underpass, but authorities have yet to take decisive action. The situation necessitates immediate action by railway and police authorities to combat these illegal activities and ensure commuter safety.
Call for Increased Patrol and Enforcement
Given the frequency of these incidents, there is a growing call for more police patrols and stricter enforcement in the underpass area. The local population is urging the administration to address the issue of illegal substance sales and consumption in the city, which they believe is contributing to the increase in such crimes.
