The Jhaduapada Shitalasashti Yatra Committee, which has always shown something new, is preparing to bring a lot of new things to the people of Sambalpur this year as well. According to the committee, five teams from outside the state will join the cultural procession from 10 districts of Odisha this time around. There will be cultural programs like Odissi, Sambalpuri, Hindi, modern dance, folk dance and so on. In 2018, for the first time in western Odisha, the Jhaduapada Committee laid the silver pandal (rupa medha) in the winter. 1 quintal made of 35 kg of silver pandal the cost Rs 80 lakh was spent. Loknath Baba’s pandal (medha) is said to be the main attraction of the yatra this time around. Various recent topics have been covered in the declaration prepared by the Jhaduapada Yatra Committee. The main attraction this time around will be the flock related to the popular film ‘Pushpa’ and Covid Vaccinia. He will also be survived by Donald Duck, Bal Hanuman and Garuda. In the past, Sushant Badei of Daleipada made to prangyapana medha of Jhaduapada. But this year, after his death in Corona, Rakesh, his teamfrom Hatpada, is making pandal as the main artisan. He is assisted by Sumit Seth of Hatpada. Ganesha Rahna, Sonu Sahu and Purnachandra Sahu are also making Garuda. Rakesh and Sumit are doing all the other proclamations except for Garuda.
