Sambalpur University students protest, demand for re-evaluation of fifth semester

Burla: +3 College students from various districts affiliated with Sambalpur University have staged a protest in front of the main gate of the university demanding a re-assessment of the combined fifth semesters. For many years now, Sambalpur University has been complicating the problem of students instead of solving them. As a result, most college students have failed miserably in their assessment of the current fifth-semester exams and are suffering and going through mental anguish. Therefore, the revised results should be published immediately. The solution controller arrived and held talks with the protesting students, the protest was called off after receiving a letter of promise, to resolve it within 15 days. The protest rally was attended by IEDSO Balangir District President Rajendra Rana, State Committee Member Madhusudan Bagh, All India Council Member Sunil Vhoi, Gauri Raut, Nimai Kumhar, Sipun Naik, Kamal Deep, Srimanta Rana, Debashis Rana, Pitabas Karan, Shivanjali Nag and Aman Sahu. Hundreds of students from different districts joined the protest.
