Sambalpur: Another victim of cyber fraud in Sambalpur Cyber fraudster has taken lakhs of rupees from his account According to information, Abhijit Roy of Hindalco RS Colony received a message related to credit card and health insurance from an unknown number on the 4th. Then he got a call from an unknown number The man introduced himself as an SBI card representative. Then sent a link on WhatsApp and mail and asked to fill in with data. After clicking on the said link, the person was found to have access to his phone. Then the money was deducted from his account. Suspecting that he was a victim of fraud, he checked his account and found that 5,000 rupees had been cut. He then changed all the passwords associated with the bank account but could not block the credit card. He brought the new card on November 6th, for blocking the old card on November 5th, After logging in on Wednesday, he found that his card had been used in Bengaluru (66 thousand 3 hundred 23 rupees and 66 thousand 3 hundred 23 rupees in Mumbai). A written complaint was filed in the police station on Wednesday. The police registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
