Sambalpur: Vigilance Conducted Raid at the homes of former SDA planning member and staff of SDA
Sambalpur: Vigilance raided the house of a former planning member and an employee of the Sambalpur Development Authority (SDA). Both of them are having trouble at their house in Burla.
According to information, raids are still going on at the house of former planning member of the Sambalpur Development Authority office, Bandita Mohapatra, and junior clerk Lakshmi Narayan Samal. The house of ex-planning member Bandita Mohapatra is being raided at 6 places, while the house of junior clerk Lakshmi Narayan Samal is also being raided. Lakshmi Narayan’s office quarters and residence have been raided. 6 DSPs, 9 inspectors, and 6 ASIs have been engaged in raids going on at their houses on the charge of confiscation of non-income assets. Notably, in the housing scheme scam, 4 employees, starting from the planning member of this organization, Bandita Mohapatra, along with 3 other members of their gang were arrested. SDA employee Laxminarayan Samal alias Bulu (32), Steno Sudshanshu Pati, and 3 outsiders who were helping them. Vikas Jagat, Dambarudhar Tripathi, and Ajay Behera were arrested by the police in the first phase. During the investigation of the case, who had reported to the police station, the police also arrested architect Manas Chaini along with Bandita Mohapatra, SDA planning member and in-charge of city planning of the metropolitan corporation.
