Sambalpur: Volunteer Blood Donation Camp organized on the birthday of the Dhaba owner’s son, 121 units of blood collected
Sambalpur: A blood donation camp has been organized by Shukchen Singh, the owner of Rai Dhaba in Goshala, Sambalpur district, on the occasion of his son’s birthday. At present there is a shortage of blood in the Burla blood bank. A small effort has been made to address this blood shortage. A total of 121 units of blood were collected in this voluntary blood donation camp organized by Rai Dhaba owner Shukchen Singh, his wife Pushpa Bedi.
As chief guests, social workers and Ex. Municipal Chairman Siddharth Saha and Amarjit Kaur inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon. Dr. Debasish Mishra, Mantu Pradhan and other staff of Burla Blood Bank contributed to blood collection. All family members, including 22-year-old Tarun Singh, donated blood on the occasion of his birthday.
Dhaba owner’s efforts have been appreciated from all quarters. In this camp, Goshala Police Officer Laxman Rath, Samaj sevi Shiv Pradhan, Nikhil Bedi, Bholi Sharma, Saroj Seth, Parvez Khan, Pappu Singh, Bablu Singh, Ram Kumar Babu, Prashant Patel contributed to the major camp management.
