Sambalpur: VSSUT Student Suicide Jumped down in Power Channel

Burla: Yesterday at 10:00 pm, VSSUT student Chinmayi Priyadeshini Sahu, suicide jumped down in Power Channel. With the intention of committing suicide, she suddenly jumped into the power channel in the presence of a friend, but after a long search, she could not be found. According to the information received, Chinmayi Priyadarshani, a resident of Rampur Madanpur, Kalahandi district, has passed the graduation (IT department). She came to Burla, VSSUT to collect her certificate as it was the Graduation college ceremony, but for some reason, she was under mental stress. With one of her classmates, Pritiman Dey, a resident of BJB Nagar, Bhubaneswar, she went for a walk to P.C. Bridge. They were talking on the bike on the bridge, suddenly she jumped into the power channel. Pritiman immediately informed to VSSUT authorities and fire station in connection with the incident. The Burla police will search again today after receiving the news.
