Sambalpur: We will connect if there is a power outage, BJP Youth Front warns to TPWODL
Now, at the end of the financial year, the Sambalpur BJP Youth Front has objected to the excessive behavior, pronunciation and activities of TPWODL officials and employees during the collection of electricity tariffs and arrears. Families living below the poverty line in India, especially the lower and middle-income families was broke the financial backbone in COVID time. Many families have since failed to pay their bills. As a result, people’s arrears have risen sharply. In the past, due to faulty billing, the arrears of many consumers have also increased. Due to the dispute, they were unable to pay their dues. At this point, the officials and employees of the electricity department are going from house to house to collect electricity tariffs. Electricity consumers are being abused. If the electricity user fails to pay, his or her electricity connection will be cut off. The Sambalpur BJP Youth Front has condemned the move, saying it was “inhumane”. Whether it is rural or urban in the district, if the departmental officials and employees are abusing consumers anywhere and disconnecting the power supply of any house, the BJP Youth Front will retaliate. If it is necessary to reconnect the disconnected line by itself, it will not hesitate to use force to stop the oppression of the poor, the simple, the innocent. Sambalpur BJP Youth Front president Ashwini Majhi warned TPWODL, regional spokesperson and media coordinator Manas Ranjan Bakshi.
