Sambalpur: Whitepoison Seized again from Sambalpur city, and one was arrested by the Excise Department
Sambalpur: Brown sugar has been seized again from Sambalpur city. With the continuous seizure of brown sugar from the Dhanupali police station area, it has become a matter of concern for everyone. While the Sambalpur district excise department had seized it many times before, after receiving information from reliable sources about brown sugar being traded on Friday, the Sambalpur excise department conducted raids in the Sunapali area under the leadership of Inspector Dhanjay Pote and ASI Alok Pradhan and seized 17 grams of brown sugar and 26 strips. A man was arrested with nitrozepam pills. The arrested accused, Muhammad Aftaba of the Sunapali area, also seized brown sugar with an estimated value of 1 lakh 70 thousand rupees, according to the excise department. The accused was arraigned on Friday.

Similarly, on August 29th, the excise department arrested Masoom Ahmed of Sunapali and seized 16 grams of brown sugar. On September 4th, 12 grams of brown sugar were seized from that Sunapali, while on Friday another 17 grams were seized.
University students and youth are being targeted by brown sugar dealers. All over the city, Brown Sugar’s traffickers have been running drug deals. Sambalpur police did not even hear about him while the excise department was seizing white poison. It is surprising to the people of the city that the police do not know about the business of white poison or do not want to know about it.
