Sambalpur: Woman attempted suicide on Chaurpur Bridge, rescued by local youth

Sambalpur: A woman tried to commit suicide at 5:00 PM yesterday at Chaurpur Bridge in Sambalpur. However, the woman from Chaurpur village was trying to push her two children in front of the vehicle saying that she would commit suicide. Also, she was trying to climb the wall of the bridge to jump into the river. At this time, the women and children were rescued by the local youth. Later reported this to the Town Police the police arrived and rescued both mother and child. The woman’s husband is a day laborer. According to the villagers, there is always a fight between the two. However, today, due to a fight again, woman came to attempt suicide by grabbing both children.
