Sambalpur’s Ranjeeta Priyadarshini Receives Most Inspiring Icon Of The Year Award From Bollywood Celebrity Ameesha Patel
Sambalpur’s Ranjeeta Priyadarshini has received the award for inspiring icon of the year and her book Paid Period Leave was launched by Bollywood Celebrity Ameesha Patel in Bengaluru. On October 14, 2023, a book written on the inspiring story of Ranjeeta Priyadarshini for the campaign of Paid Period Leave was launched at Novotel Hotel, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The book was successfully launched by Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel. This book is written by author Pradeep Singh of Uttar Pradesh and published by Evincepub Publishing Bilaspur. Along with it, the daughter of Sambalpur, Ranjeeta was honored with the “Most Inspiring Icon of the Year” award by Bollywood Actress Ameesha Patel.
Ranjeeta has been dedicated to running the campaign of “Paid Period Leave” for women for a long time.
In order to spread the awareness of paid period leave and to implement it everywhere across the nation, she has met many leaders, ministers, and political officials and has traveled to more than 12 states. The book launch was organized by Favfairs, where the leaders of the corporate field, manufacturing sector, entrepreneurs, etc. participated. Earlier in May 2023 -World Menstruation Day, the first Hindi Song about paid period leave on the story of Ranjeeta’s Campaign released in NewDelhi, Bihar Niwas. On March 13, 2023, Ranjeeta’s Campaign Paid Period Leave got immense support from MLA Er. Lalan Kumar and the MLA raised the topic in the Bihar Assembly for private Women Employees. She is the campaign initiator of #paid period leave for Indian working women.
The fact that this has come into being is basically a result of not only Ranjeeta’s personal and unavoidable natural monthly problem but also is based on various experiences of innumerable similar experiences of other working women about whom she learned through discussions.
To date, Ranjeeta has been responsible for implementing #PaidPeriodLeave in 23 Organizations for their female employees in India. On 08/01/2023, 09/01/2023, and 12/01/2023, Ranjeeta’s International Radio interviews were aired on WINGS Radio, Radio4all, 101.5 UMFM Radio Winnipeg, CKCU FM 93.1 Ottawa in CANADA and KKFI 90.1 FM Radio in Kansas City USA announcing about her Paid Period Leave Campaign.
During the International Women’s Day, paid period Leave campaign: the story of Ranjeeta was also aired on 94.1 KPFA Radio in CA, US. On 16th September 2022 she got a call from the Union Minister Of State For Commerce and Industry Government of India and on 19th September Ranjeeta met Minister Anupriya Patel.
