Fines Collected from Various Shops
During the inspection, the officials collected a total fine of Rs. 44,200 from different businesses for violating regulations. However, when they reached Cape Sales in Golbazar, they found that the shop had completely ignored all SMC regulations.
Tension Escalates as Shop Owner Misbehaves
When tax officer Ashok Mishra informed the shop owner about the fine, he reacted aggressively and misbehaved with the officials. This led to a tense situation at the site. Upon further verification of documents, authorities found additional rule violations, leading to the immediate sealing of the shop.
This action highlights SMC’s strict enforcement of business regulations and serves as a warning to other shop owners to comply with trade and tax laws.
