Sambalpur: Smrutiranjan from Sambalpur Secures First Rank in All India ARS Examination
Sambalpur: Smrutiranjan Pradhan, a student of Newton Higher Secondary School of Science in Debeipali, has achieved the top rank in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2023. The exam, conducted under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), is a prestigious gateway for entry-level scientists in India.
Exam Overview
The ARS Examination 2023 consisted of a written test held on December 23, 2023, followed by personal interviews conducted in November and December 2024. Out of the 216 candidates selected for the entry-level scientist posts across 49 disciplines under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Smrutiranjan emerged as the national topper based on merit.
