Students protest in front of the GMU demanding the cancellation of the +2 exam
Sambalpur: Various tests were postponed as the coronavirus infection increased. However, Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Das signaled last week that the 10th and 12th exams would be held after the infection was reduced. Students across the state have been protesting since the announcement. Today, +2 students from various educational institutions in front of Gangadhar Meher University staged a protest demanding that they will not sit together and take the exam. The students also submitted a letter of demand to the governor.
According to the students, the lessons have been taught for a very short time. 30% of the syllabus is not completed. Students who do not have a mobile phone have not read the online classes. They also have 3 quarterly exams in 3 months. The students demanded that the results be announced based on the results of the quarterly exams. The Koshal Students’ Union has warned that if the exams are not canceled, they will be protesting.
