Sambalpur: Summer Break Ends, Sambalpur’s Schools Reopen, Begins with Morning Classes
Sambalpur: Summer vacation was scheduled until June 17th. Considering the heatwave, district collectors decided to reopen schools, with some districts reopening on the 18th. However, the Sambalpur district collector extended the vacation until June 20th.
Sambalpur district schools reopened on Friday. The Department of School and Mass Education increased the morning school schedule by one day. Thus, after the summer break, Sambalpur district schools reopened on Friday, with morning classes running from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Beginning Saturday, all schools will resume normal operations. Most schools reported low attendance on Friday, but attendance is expected to rise beginning Monday.
