Jujumura: An unfortunate incident took place in Nuabarangamal panchayat area of ​​Jujumura police station in Sambalpur district. The body of a young man has been recovered from the backside of his girlfriend’s house. The family of the deceased has lodged a complaint with the police regarding the murder. Police are detaining and questioning the suspect’s girlfriend, mother and brother. The deceased was identified as Ashok Sahu, 26, son of Bipin Sahu of Kulshar village in Jujumura police station.

According to police, the girl had an affair with Ashok of Kulshar village for 5 to 6 years. Both decided to get married. But opposed by gf’s family. Her family persuaded him not to have any contact with the young woman. However, Ashok did not comply. At various times, he would go to his village to visit the young woman. Which the young woman’s family did not accept. This led to bitterness between the girl’s family and Ashok. The girl’s family also lodged a complaint with the police. Police summoned Ashok and his family to the police station and demanded an end to the matter. However, Ashok did not comply. Meanwhile, the young woman’s marriage was confirmed.

She would have been married on the 19th. Ashok and the girl’s family were angry when they heard the news. According to Ashok’s elder brother Saroj, the young woman called her brother on Wednesday. Ashok called his two friends and asked them to leave him near the girl’s house. The two friends took him and left him near the young woman’s house. Ashok’s body was found at around 4pm on Thursday in a wooded area behind the young woman’s house. On hearing the news, Redhakhol SDPO Prashant Meher, Jujumura police officer Rajkumar Bishwal Pramukh reached the spot and conducted the investigation with the help of Scientific Team 4, search dogs. No injuries were reported, and no bleeding from the nose or ears was reported. Police seized the body and sent it to the Sambalpur District General Hospital for autopsy. The exact cause of death will be known once the amputation report is received, police said. Police are detaining and questioning the young woman, her mother and brother on suspicion.
