The SI of the Police Station was caught taking a bribe of 15 thousand rupees on the PhonePe

Boudh: Again there was a black mark on the uniform of the Boudh Police. He did not take money by hand in clever. Baunsuni police station SI Bikram Kishore Dehuri has been caught by vigilance after taking a bribe of 15 thousand rupees in ‘PhonePe’. According to departmental information, Karunakar Naik of Badda village in one case he went to jail. His bike was also seized. After getting bail, Karunakar was allowed to move the bike after filing a court case. But SI Shri Dehuri demanded money for it. After discussion Karunakar agreed to pay Rs 15,000. But fearing to be caught red-hande did not take money by hand. Karunakar’s go to vigilance department after asking him to pay through the ‘PhonePe’ app. According to the plan, Mr. Dehur was caught by vigilance officials on Tuesday evening after the money was deposited into his account.

Along with this, his office and residence in Puranakatak have also been raided. Till the time of writing, Mr. Dehuri has been detained at the Boudh Vigilance Office and is being searched. Vigilance DSP Hemant Mohanty, Boudh DSP Suresh Kaher, ASI Manoj Naik, Constable Loknath Sahu and Harprasad Paramguru Mahapatra were included in the investigation. On 1st of this month, B Vigilance seized 6 lakh tonga from Constable Harishchandra Sahu of Baghiapada Fandi and arrested him.
