Theft in Three places of Sambalpur town near Golebazar, near the town police station, near Mudipada sub-post
- Sambalpur: A scooty has been stolen from the busy Golebazar area. According to the town police, a female government employee went to a mall in the Golebazar area to buy some household items. Put the scooty in the parking lot of that mall and she went to buy it but when she returned find her scooty has been stolen. Police are investigating.
- Sambalpur: A necklace was stolen from a shop near Sambalpur Town Police Station last night. According to reports, thieves broke into a necklace shop in front of the town police station late Thursday night. They took away a box of 30,000 rupees cash from a box in the store. A complaint was lodged with the Town Police Department on Friday morning, and a case is being investigated.
- Theft from Mudipada sub-post Sambalpur: Thieves have stolen valuable parcels from Mudipada post office. Police are investigating. According to the complaint, the sub-postmaster of the post office locked the office at around 8pm on Tuesday and went home. On Wednesday morning, as he opened the door, he saw that the door was not locked. Thieves in the office have thrown all the papers and furniture here and there. Subsequent investigations revealed that two valuable parcels were missing.
