Tourists visit Nandankanan’s during Dussehra: Children’s toy train Start today
Nandankanan Zoo is going to give tourists a new thing on the occasion of Dussehra. During the 9th Wildlife Week celebrations, tourists will get to see 8 species of animals, including leopards, chinkara deer and gray wolves. Similarly, the child train, which has been out of order for many years, will roll again from tomorrow.
According to reports, there have been no leopards in Nandankanan for a long time. There are two leopards in four of the four species of wildlife from the Jaipur Zoo in Kailashpuri, Rajasthan. So many tourists will see leopards. Similarly, there are two chinkara deer and two gray gray wolves and two male crocodiles. Minister for Forests and Environment Vikram Keshari Arukh will be the chief guest at the Wildlife Week celebrations. The function, to be presided over by Shashi Pallah, Chief Forest Conservator and Chief Wildlife Supervisor of the Department of Wildlife, was graced by MLA Suresh Kumar Rautaray, MLA Sushant Kumar Raut, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Forests and Environment. Mona Sharma, Forest Chief Shishir Kumar Rath will join.
Notably, since 2014, children’s train vehicles have been out of order. Indian Railways, on the recommendation of Indian Railways, signed a contract for the renewal of children’s railways on December 6, 2017 on behalf of Wright Limited. Rail travel has been increased in view of the increase in tourists. Arrangements have also been made for the release of herbivores on the rail concept side. Instead of diesel engines, battery-powered engines have been used to keep the environment pollution-free. Cement concrete slabs have been laid on the railroad tracks. The single-engine engine has five carriages and can accommodate up to 42 passengers.
