Passengers will not be able to book train tickets from 11:30 pm to 5:30 am for these 7 days. The upgrade is said to have been made to update new train numbers and other information. According to the Railways, all trains have a large number of old train numbers and current travel booking data to be updated. So it is planned to do so in stages.
This is why the work will be done at night to reduce the impact on ticket service. According to the Railways, the renovation will start on the night of November 14 and 15 and run through the night of November 20 and 21. Due to this, the PR7S will not be open from 11:30 pm to 5:30 am. As a result, no PRS services, such as ticket reservation, current booking ticket cancellation and search services, will be available during these 4 hours. In addition, railway workers will ensure advance chatting to start trains at affected times, Railways said. The Ministry of Railways has said that all research services, including Dial 137, will be available, except for the PR7S service. According to a recent announcement by Railways, all trains running at a higher rate due to special tags will now run with the old name and number due to special tags.
The Ministry of Railways has announced a huge discount for passengers. Accordingly, all trains that were converted into special trains during the corona period will now operate as usual, thus reducing the special charges levied on these trains, resulting in a 30 per cent reduction in fares.
