Sambalpur: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Visits Durga Puja Pandals in Sambalpur During Dussehra

Sambalpur: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid visits to several Durga Puja pandals in Sambalpur during Dussehra celebrations. On the second day of his visit, he performed prayers at Maa Samaleswari Temple and Maa Pataneswari Temple, as well as visiting various Durga Puja mandaps on Vijaya Dashami.

Interaction with the Public

The minister received public complaints and concerns at the Green Park Guest House in the morning. Citizens met with him to discuss a variety of issues, including challenges facing educational institutions. After that, Dharmendra Pradhan went to the Maa Samaleswari Temple. He expressed his joy, saying, “It is my good fortune to have darshan of Maa Samaleswari, the presiding deity of Sambalpur, on this auspicious occasion of Dussehra. May Maa bless everyone with her grace, bringing them happiness and prosperity.” He also prayed for Sambalpur’s progress and the well-being of the country and state.

Prayers and Plans for Temple Development

Later, he went to Deepa Ghar, lit the ceremonial lamps, and spoke with the temple priests about a variety of issues, including some that had been ongoing. Dharmendra Pradhan stated that plans for the Samaleswari Temple’s Phase 2 development have already begun. He also stated that the temple will become a modern spiritual hub, with detailed discussions taking place with the administration to ensure this vision. He also visited the Pataneswari Temple to pray.

Review Meeting with Local Administration

The Union Minister met with the district administration at Circuit House, accompanied by local MLA Jayanarayan Mishra. After the meeting, he went to several Durga Puja pandals around the city, including Daleipara, Hadapada, Nandapara, and Jhaduapara, as well as Hirakud and Burla. Dharmendra Pradhan’s visit to Sambalpur for Dussehra was his first since becoming a Member of Parliament.
