Balasore: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnab inaugurated the new station and MEMU train in Balasore today. While inaugurating the Gopinathpur railway station in the Balasore district, the Union Railway Minister launched the Nilgiris-Balasore MEMU train. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav flagged off the train at Nilgiris. On this occasion, the Railway Minister said that the long-standing dream of the people of Nilgiri residents has been fulfilled. Balasore – Gopinathpur Nilgiri Memu train is running. The train will run for a total distance of 16 km with 8 coaches. This train has a special compartment for women. Three MEMU trains will run on this line daily. In addition, the survey for the Nilgiri railway line has been started. Similarly, DPR has been started for Jaleswar to Chandaneshwar railway line. He further said that the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving free rice to the state. I challenge those who are misleading you. Don’t be under any illusion. Today, the morning first, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnab went to the Khirachora Gopinath temple in Remuna and performed puja and darshan. After that he went around the temple premises with the devotees who had come to the temple. On this occasion, he discussed with the temple committee and asked about their facility problems and promised to build a guest house for the convenience of the pilgrims coming here. He has also announced to provide a grant of Rs 50 lakhs for this. After the temple visit, Shri Vaishnav joined the Develop Bharata Sankalpa Yatra organized by the NAC. Later he visited Nilgiri and inaugurated the much-awaited Gopinathpur railway station and flagged the launch of Nilgiri-Balasore MEMU passenger train service. The Union Railway Minister also inaugurated the Balasore-Gopinathpur Nilgiri passenger line.
