Youth Attacked by Released Accused
Sambalpur: A young man named Siddharth Kumbhar from Kumbharpada under Dhanupali police limits was recently attacked due to an old rivalry. The main accused, Mohammad Juman, allegedly attacked Siddharth after being released from jail.
Background of the Conflict
Earlier, on January 29, Mohammad Juman and his associates had attacked Siddharth, injuring his head severely. Following that incident, Siddharth had filed a complaint, and Dhanupali police had registered a case and sent Juman to court. As a result, he was sent to jail.

Fresh Attack After Jail Release
However, after Juman was released from jail today, he, along with his brothers, confronted Siddharth again. They abused him and launched a fresh attack with the intention to kill him, all due to the lingering grudge from the earlier incident.
Victim Hospitalized, Family Alleges Threats
Siddharth sustained serious injuries and is now being treated at Sambalpur Sadar Medical. Meanwhile, Siddharth’s father, Sarun Kumbhar, alleged that the accused are continuously threatening to kill his son.
Police Yet to Respond Further
Although a previous case had been filed and action was taken, the family now demands strict measures to ensure safety, fearing another possible attack.
