Sambalpur: The power station authorities will halt water flow through the power channel to the Chipilima Hydroelectric Power Station from November 10 to December 20. Maintenance crews will perform essential work on the station’s foreway and extended foreway during this period. Workers may discharge water through the auto siphon on occasion.

Water Flow Resumption on December 21
Workers will resume water flow through the power channel from the head regulator to the Chipilima Power Station on December 21 at 6:00 AM or shortly afterward. We advise the public to avoid entering the power channel after December 21, 6:00 AM, as operators will release water.
