Sambalpur: Western Odisha’s Voice Strengthened; Mohan Majhi Announces Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell for Sambalpur
Sambalpur: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has stated that the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell will no longer be restricted to the state capital. Sambalpur will soon have its own grievance cell, where people from Western Odisha can express their concerns directly. The Chief Minister also announced plans to establish similar grievance cells in other regions of the state.
Previous Governments Neglected Sambalpur
During the Odisha Cultural Society’s Nuakhai celebration at the Jharuapada Aranyak Manch, the Chief Minister criticized previous governments for neglecting Sambalpur. He emphasized that previous administrations had a biased attitude toward Sambalpur, which kept the region from reaching its full development potential. He promised that under his leadership, Sambalpur would no longer be ignored.

No More Travel to Raipur for Medical Treatment
Majhi also assured the people that they would no longer have to travel to AIIMS Raipur for medical care. Plans are underway to establish an AIIMS in Sambalpur, which will provide advanced healthcare to the region.
Nuakhai Visit and Gratitude
The Chief Minister expressed his happiness and said he was delighted to visit Sambalpur for Nuakhai. He mentioned that this visit brought him immense joy and satisfaction, as he felt closer to the people of Sambalpur.

The Nuakhai event was presided over by Paresh Dani, President of the Odisha Cultural Society. Other dignitaries who attended included Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Sambalpur MLA Jaynarayan Mishra, Chhendipada MLA Agasti Behera, and Agriculture Department Chief Secretary Arvind Padhi.
