Sambalpur: Intercity Train will be closed for 5 days due to safety-related modernization work between Sambalpur Junction & Sambalpur City Station
Sambalpur: Some passenger trains have been partially disrupted for safety-related modernization work between Sambalpur Junction and Sambalpur City Station of Sambalpur railway line, the Railways has informed. About 5 days of train services have been cancelled or rerouted on the Sambalpur-Bhubaneswar railway route due to modernization work.
Especially Sambalpur-Rayagada Express, Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Intercity Express Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express will be cancelled from 19th August till 23rd August in both directions. Apart from this, between long-distance trains Sambalpur – Nanded Express 20th to 22nd Sambalpur – Jammu Express 19th to 22nd Samalpur – Banaras Express 20th to 24th, Sambalpur – Shalimar Express 20th to 23rd, Sambalpur – Junagadh Road Passenger Special 18th to 25th, Bilaspur – Titilagarh – Raipur Passenger Special on 18th August 24th. Jharsuguda – Samalpur – Jharsuguda Memu Express from 19th to 23rd due to cancellation of transit through Sambalpur. However, Hatia – Puri Tapaswini Express, LTT – Bhubaneswar Express, Bikaner – Puri – Bikaner Express, Hirakud Express, Puri – Jodhpur – Puri Express will run through Sarla station on the modified route.
