Sambalpur: Vimsar House Surgeons are on duty wearing Black Badges demanding an increase in stipend

Burla: The members of the House Surgeons Association of Vimsar are wearing black badges from today to work demanding an increase in stipend. According to the rules, the stipend of the house surgeon is increased every three years. Although it has increased in 2019, three years have passed, but it has not increased to date. While 150 house surgeons working in Vimsar are currently getting 28 thousand rupees as a stipend, they have demanded to increase it to 40 thousand rupees. However, if the demands are not met within the next 7 days, the union will hold a strike movement, President Dr. Divyadarshan Tripathi and Secretary Dr. Rohan Nayak informed.
