Last night, a heavily loaded truck overturned near the Burla Police Station, close to the PC Bridge, causing major traffic delays on the highway.
Truck Hits Rail Line Boundary Wall
Sambalpur: The truck, which was traveling from Sambalpur to Bargarh, lost control after the driver allegedly fell asleep. As a result, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a nearby wall that serves as the railway line’s boundary. The impact was severe, and the truck flipped, blocking a stretch of the National Highway.

Early Morning Recovery Efforts
As the morning progressed, recovery efforts were immediately initiated. A crane was brought in around 6 a.m. today to remove the overturned vehicle from the highway, allowing traffic to flow normally again.
To avoid such incidents, authorities are urging drivers to be cautious, especially on long journeys. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported thus far.
