186 government OSRTC buses in the state have been temporarily shut down

According to the data obtained by November 2021, SmartCity Bhubaneswar is at its worst. Bhubaneswar has the highest number of 27 OSRTC buses are non-operating . In Nabarangpur and Paralakhemundi all OSRTC buses are active, while in all other districts the situation is different. Similarly, Cuttack is second only to Bhubaneswar. Cuttack still has 23 buses, Sambalpur 20, Anugol 11, Balangir 11, Berhampur 10, Bhanjanagar 4, Kendujhar 4, Bargarh 4, Maltipatpur 4, Deogarh 1, Sundargarh 1, Nuapada 1, Rayagada 2, Phulbani 5, Malkanagar 1Rourkela 9, Padmapur 2, Bhawanipatna 4 and Jaipur 21.

Minister of State for Commerce and Transport Padmanabha Behera said in a statement to MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati in the state assembly that the OSRTC buses were out of order.
