Sambalpur: Trapped in cyber fraud while generating credit card PIN
Sambalpur: Another person from Sambalpur has become a victim of cyber fraud. Himanshu Shekhar Biswal (35) of Motijharan LIC Colony, Dhanupali police station, has been trapped in fraud while generating credit card pin. According to the information received, he applied for a State Bank credit card. Tried to generate PIN after card arrived but failed. Searched in google but could not generate. On 16th july, cyber fraud called him and sent him a link claiming to be from SBI customer care. Then he continued to do what the fraud said. Also gave the OTP. Then 9,130 rupees were deducted from his account. After learning that he was a victim of fraud, he lodged a written complaint at Dhanupali police station on Sunday night. After the complaint, the police registered a case and started investigating the incident.
