Sambalpur: A high-level committee formed by the BJP national president has visited Sambalpur. Sri. Brijlal, the chairman of the committee and the chairman of the parliamentary committee on home department, demanded that the state government be blamed for the violence in Sambalpur and a CBI inquiry should be conducted. A committee of BJP MPs went to Jharmunda, the village of deceased Chandramani Mirdha today. As Chandramani’s house was locked, after talking to the locals, the injured met Kalia of Bhabanipali and inquired about the incident. After returning from there, he met the members of various organizations at the Sambalpur Circuit House and held talks with the police-administrative officials at the office of the IG Uttaranchal.

At a press conference held here in the afternoon, Brijlal said that the Indian government had warned against attempts to incite violence during religious events in the country a few days ago. And on April 11, the day before the Hanuman Jayanti bike procession, the state police department also issued a warning in this regard. However, Sambalpur Police did not take any security measures. MP Sameer Oram, one of the members of the committee, said that Chandramani was not cremated according to the tribal tradition, nor was the ritual that was supposed to be performed. According to the Police Department, the compensation amount has been given to Chandramani’s family. . Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari, MLA Nauri Naik, Mukesh Mahalinga, Mohan Majhi, Lalatendu Vidyadhar Mohapatra, Kusum Tete, Nityananda Gond and BJP Sambalpur district president Girish Patel were prominently present in the press conference.

BJP is doing hate politics: BJD

Sambalpur: As peace returns in Sambalpur, BJP is creating hate politics. If the law and order situation arises in Sambalpur, the city of brotherhood and harmony, the state BJP will be solely responsible for it, said Atabira leader and state president of Women’s BJD Snehangini Chhuriya. At a press conference here today, Ms. Chhuriya said, “People in Sambalpur believe in peace and prosperity.” The unfortunate incident that took place in the past days has disturbed everyone. Due to the efforts of the peace-loving Sambalpur people and the police-administration, peace has returned to Sambalpur. Life has become normal. But this has made the state BJP unhappy. BJP is disturbed by this. BJP, which is creating hate politics, is trying to play political games by disrupting the peace of Sambalpur. People of Sambalpur will not let that happen. BJP does not believe in development. That is why the people of Odisha have been rejecting the BJP for the past 23 years. Violence like Sambalpur is often happening in BJP-ruled states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Ms. Chhuriya questioned whether the BJP is sending such a fact-finding team to those states. Recently the National Tribal Commission has come to Sambalpur and is investigating. The Human Rights Commission has also launched an investigation. BJP has no hope on these two commissions. BJP is trying to create division between caste-caste, religion-religion and community-community. He said that BJP should refrain from this. Chief Minister Sri. Naveen Pattnaik always lets the law take its course. Whoever is responsible for the unfortunate events of the past days will surely be punished. The incident is under investigation.
