Sambalpur: Caste Fraud is Growing, Adivasi Maha Sangh surround the RDC office
Sambalpur: Many people are getting jobs due to caste fraud due to which many qualified people are deprived of jobs. Such a complaint has been brought by Western Odisha tribal union and has demanded action after thorough investigation. The Maha Sangha protested and surrounded the office of the Northern Revenue Commissioner. A large number of tribals came in a rally and reached in front of the office of RDC. After the protest, a demand letter containing three demands was presented to the RDC by the Maha Sangha. Crime Branch DSP Ramesh Dora, including the names of 3 persons has been mentioned in the demand letter by the Maha Sangh to verify their caste certificates.
In addition, the SC ST students who are filling the Vimsar medical exam form are unable to pay the fine for submitting late and are requested to take a decision on it. Amit Kispota’s house in Tandabira village under Naktideul tehsil was vandalized by the administration last year. The police have only filed a case on the basis of illegal breaking the house without notice. Action was taken in the said case and Kispota was mentioned in the demand letter to be rehabilitated.
In the rally held under the leadership of Maha Sangh President Prashant Kumar Hao, State General Secretary Shyam Sundar Munda along with Odisha Adavis Dalit Sena President Preeti Padhan, Govind Bariha, Gabriel Kula, Alexa Ekka, Debit Topno, Matias Tiga, Hulium Dungdung, Sugar Hans, Suchita Suren were prominent present.
