Government of Odisha Announces Free UPSC Civil Services Residential Coaching Scheme for 2024-25

The Higher Education Department invites applications for sponsored UPSC Civil Services Coaching.

In a bid to support aspiring civil servants from Odisha, the Government of Odisha’s Higher Education Department has announced the initiation of the UPSC Civil Services Residential Coaching Scheme for the session 2024-25. This scheme aims to provide free residential coaching, including food and accommodation, to 200 candidates who are domiciles of Odisha.

Key Points:

1. Residential Coaching: The selected candidates will receive a complete 11-month residential coaching program that will cover both the Prelims and Mains exams, as well as General Studies and Optional papers.
2. Entrance Examination: To shortlist the 200 candidates, a pre-qualifying entrance examination will be conducted on May 5, 2024
3. Application Process: Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply through the SAMS portal of the Higher Education Department. The application fee is Rs. 100, payable through online mode at the time of submission.
4. Guidelines: Detailed guidelines are available on the Higher Education Department’s website at www.dhe.odisha.gov.in.

• Last date & time for applying online: April 2, 2024 (11:45 PM)
• Availability of Admit card in SAMS & SSB websites: From April 29, 2024, onwards
• Date of Examination: May 5, 2024
