Sambalpur: A drunken husband killed his wife

Jaymati Rana (25) of Beheramunda, Khetrajpur, was beheaded and killed by her husband with hard cement. She was married to Pintu Munda, a resident of Dharuadihi in Sundergarh district, less than four years ago. Pintu was always drunk and verbally abused. As the persecution was unbearable, she moved to his mother’s house in Khetrajapur 15 days ago. Pintu crushed hard cement while Jaymati was asleep on late Thursday night. Her family rushed her to the district hospital. There the doctor pronounced her dead. Police are investigating.
